Organic coffee

If coffee is healthy for the human beings, it cannot do harm to the environment. That is why we wanted to foster biological agriculture by certifying our Bio coffee with the EC&Q label.

The products that come from organic farming are obtained without any synthetic chemical substances and in the total respect for the environment. To adhere to such objectives organic farming has adopted techniques that respect natural ecological balances: the defence from the harmful insects is effected by means of an integrated fight with the employment of pollinators, the use of substances of mineral, vegetable, animal origin and of resistant plants; the fertility of the soil is maintained and strengthen with natural manure and correct agronomic practices like green manure. The defence from weeds is made without pesticides, using mechanical, agronomic and physical techniques.
