Guatemala Onà

250g & 1000g Packaging

Finca Onà rises between 835 and 1,280 metres above sea level in one of the most striking corners of Guatemala, where nature expresses itself with all its force and generosity. Its name, in the local language, means “refuge of the bees”: a detail that already speaks volumes about this extraordinary place.

One of the oldest coffee plantations in the country, Finca Onà is also a refuge for biodiversity and a point of reference for the local community. Over the years it has built nurseries and schools for workers and their families, and in 2002 obtained the Rainforest Alliance certification, in recognition of its concrete commitment to ecosystem preservation.

Our Fine Robusta coffee is part of the “Mujeres en Café” project, an initiative created to celebrate and support women coffee growers in Guatemala, guiding them towards economic independence in a historically male-dominated sector. Choosing this coffee also means choosing a positive and lasting social impact.

The cherries are selected one by one at the moment of full ripeness and processed using the washed method, to preserve the clarity and complexity of the aromatic profile. In the cup, the coffee reveals notes of dried fruit, almond, honey and chocolate, with a full and harmonious body, a persistent crema and an aftertaste that leaves an irresistible echo of dark chocolate.
