The Maragogype, is also known as the “ELEPHANT BEAN” for the large size of the beans. It has an extremely low caffeine content and is famous for its digestibility. It has a pleasant fruity flavour, intense aroma and a very low acidity.

This coffee has been tasted with a 25 ml espresso extraction at 94°C in 26 seconds. The degassing of the roasted beans took 72 hours. The crema has a hazelnut colour and the aromas are of vanilla, spices and tobacco. This coffee’s body is delicate, typical for washed beans from high altitude plantations.
